Student Projects
Communicating your work
No matter how great an education students receive, if they can’t communicate their work with a general audience, we’ve failed. That’s why we’ve built into our coursework ways to build effective written and oral skills about forestry-related issues.
During semester-long projects each spring and fall, students create webpages about tree-related topics for use by both professionals and homeowners. Students provide all of the content and decide how best to present the information. They are graded on accuracy of the information, organization, relevance, and appropriate citations. References are required and must be from reputable sources.
